Big Wave Approaching Porthmeor Beach

Inspired by a December day in St Ives at Porthmeor Beach as a big wave was approaching. The magnificent light in Cornwall cast deep indigo blue reflections on the water trails on the saturated ochre sand. As the waves crashed along the shoreline aquamarine and teal hues emerged. The original oil on canvas measures 90cm x 100cm and is ready to hang. The painting is signed and dated on the reverse.
