Do You Ever Wonder What Is Out There?

A painting that is inspired by a walk along the Devonshire coastline at Thurlestone Beach when the weather was very misty and the sea spray was reducing visibility. The atmospheric weather became the focus of this painting that is built up using my hands, palette knives and paintbrushes to achieve subtle transitions of grean grey and yellow hues in contrast to the dark foreground of the rocky outcrops surrounding the beach. The painting was completed in my studio in Stratford Upon Avon and is presented in a hand-painted tray frame using Strong White by Farrow and Ball.
