Early Morning Frosty Walk With Luca, 30cm x 40cm, oil on board

I love walking in the field located near the new Stratford Marina and this a painting inspired by a frosty walk along the river during a sunny winter's morning. The view appealed to me as I really enjoyed the reflections of the trees that were overhanging within the island that is located below Lucy's Mill. The colours reflected by the road bridge and cars also provided an interesting focal point. The painting was created in my garden studio using thick layers of oil paint on a stretched canvas. The painting is sold unframed but it can be framed at an additional cost.
