Holy Trinity Church in September
Holy Trinity Church in September

The view looking across the water to the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford Upon Avon, which is probably the main landmark of the town and one of my favourite locations in Stratford. This was painted when the rich green of the willow leaves were in full bloom and the reflections of the blue sky in the water as well as the church made for an interesting composition. I often fish at this location in the winter and I really enjoy walking the dog along this stretch of the River Avon.
The painting is an original oil on board and was painted in my studio in Stratford Upon Avon using Wallace Seymour artist quality oil paints on a primed plywood panel.
The painting has been framed professionally with a bespoke hand-painted frame by Creative Picture Framing. The colour of the frame is Pointing by Farrow & Ball.
