Discover the landscape tradition of John Constable in this full-day oil painting workshop set in the beutiful location of Cobbs Farm, Stratford.

Guided by Andrew Field, you'll explore composition, technique, and the countryside that inspired one of Britain's greatest painters. Your day begins with welcome refreshments and an introduction to Constable's life and work. Looking at photographs of local riverside locations, you'll complete drawing exercises to master composition and structure.

Watch a live painting demonstration, then apply these techniques to create your own oil sketch. After lunch, continue painting with a fresh composition, exploring different scales and formats.

Throughout the day, you'll receive one-to-one tuition in a supportive, creative environment alongside fellow artists—all while building confidence and developing new skills.

Simply bring an apron and wear clothes suitable for painting.
