Looking Towards The Bear

Looking Towards The Bear from the footbridge in Stratford Upon Avon is inspired by a walk when the weather was looking very overcast with the probability of rain. The light beaming onto The Bear which is a famous pub in Stratford Upon Avon, where I have watched a lot of live sport was very inviting for a quick pint as the weather was changing. The moody skies is one thing that I love to capture in my work and the stormy clouds over the Clopton Bridge in the distance inspired me to produce this painting in my garden studio. The painting is 7 x 5 inches and was created on a primed museum board using artist quality paints. The painting is mounted and presented in a cellophane wallet for protection during delivery.
