Mint Seabreeze

Mint Seabreeze was inspired by many visit to the Cornish town of St Ives, a place very close to my heart every since I completed my dissertation for my degree. With hints of yellow, mint greens and greys in the hazy sky with deep blues and lighter areas of the shallower water that ebbs on the burnt sienna shoreline with glimpses of soft coral pinks. This painting is inspired by walks along the beaches in St Ives namely Porthminster Beach and Porthmeor Beach, two of my favourites on either side of the peninsula.
