A day of painting inspired by Monet

Enjoy a full day of painting with artist Andrew Field, exploring the atmosphere, colour and light of Claude Monet’s winter seascapes.

Through step-by-step exercises and demonstrations, Andrew will introduce you to techniques inspired by Monet’s impressionist approach, helping you build confidence and create your own oil painting on paper. You’ll explore how a carefully chosen palette and expressive brushwork can capture the shifting light and mood of a winter coastline.

Personal guidance in an inspiring setting

The workshop takes place in the Private Dining Room, adjacent to the restaurant. A selection of Andrew’s paintings will be displayed around the room, offering inspiration throughout the day. With a maximum of 12 participants, there will be plenty of opportunity for individual guidance and one-to-one tuition.

All art materials are provided, so you can settle in and enjoy a relaxed, creative day.

Above all, this is a chance to slow down, enjoy painting and leave with an artwork you feel proud of. Treat yourself to a creative day out, or give a loved one a thoughtful early Christmas or birthday gift.
