Spearmint Mist

Spearmint Mist is inspired by a visit to North Devon and in particluar Thurlestone Sands. We were walking along the beach and climbing amongst the rocks that were red and purple in appearance and were very jagged. The colour of the water during December was a very pale green which glistened in the winter light and provided a lovely contrast to the deeper coloured rocks and sand. Visibility was low and the horizon was barely visible as the clouds descended over the beach before it started to rain.

The painting is sold unframed but framing can be arranged at an additional cost. I would recommend a floating oak frame as presented on the website.
