Spur

Spur is inspired by the colours experienced particularly at winter time in Cornwall when we visited last year. Its the colours that I see when I look into the spur of the incoming waves. The painting is a reminder of how cold the water is experienced first hand when we went for a dip at Porthmeor Beach. The painting is created using oil on canvas and has been created in my garden studio in Stratford Upon Avon, based on experiences of visiting St Ives the previous winter.
