View of the River Avon from Holy Trinity Church

Looking above the River Avon next to Holy Trinity Church towards Stratford Upon Avon on a cold winters morning as I was walking the dog. The fog has lifted along the bank of the river and the frosty ground started to emerge. As the blue sky appeared above the clouds light the light projected onto the water creating tree reflections along the far bank. This is a location that I love to visit in Stratford Upon Avon and this painting came about as a result of one morning walk. The original oil painting is on board and the piece is presented in a hand-painted off-white frame using Pointing by Farrow and Ball. The painting measures 53cm x 45cm and is signed on the front and is ready to hang. The colour of the wall is Masquerade by Little Greene.
