I enjoy walking over the footbridge and seeing the RSC on one side and The Boathouse and The Bear pub behind as you look towards Clopton Bridge. This is a painting inspired by a wonderful summer's day as we were walking over the footbridge to get to the recreation ground and there was lots of activity where people hire boats.
The painting is an original oil on board and was painted in my studio in Stratford Upon Avon using Wallace Seymour artist quality oil paints on a primed plywood panel.
The painting has been framed professionally with a bespoke hand-painted frame by Creative Picture Framing. The colour of the frame is Pointing by Farrow & Ball.
